You’ve been gifted with an amazing skill.
Healing is a powerful way to help the hurting and needy. The people that visit us are walking through life everyday with suffering and pain.
What better way to give back to the people around you than through the practice of healing?
As a Volunteer Healer, you get the opportunity to work directly with the hurting in your community. We rely on volunteering from Healers like yourself to be able to provide this wonderful service to others.
What You Need to Know About Relief from Pain
Before you make the decision to volunteer, you’re probably wondering what we’re all about…
In short, we’re a Berkshire-based UK charity that facilitates Complementary Healing treatment. People come to us seeking relief from a variety of pains and ailments. We offer Free Healing Clinics to these sufferers every third Thursday of the month.
And that’s one way where you, as a Volunteer Healer, can really help out.
We don’t charge for these clinics, and they are made possible by Healers that donate their services while at the centre. It’s a great opportunity to hone your skill, while also giving back to others in your community.
3 Ways Volunteer Healers Benefit from Contributing Their Gifts
Many feel that it’s important to volunteer in the community in some way. And while it’s great to help those around you, it’s also good to reap some benefits for yourself.
As a Volunteer Healer, you’ll encounter many benefits along the way. In this article, we’d like to outline three of the main ways you’ll be able to receive something in return for what you give.
1. Enjoy the Opportunity to Practice Your Practice
The more you practice as a Healer, the better you become.
Volunteer positions are a great place for part-time or out-of-practice Healers to hone their skill and develop their gift. There’s no reason to let your skills depreciate because you don’t have a space to offer your services.
Become a better practitioner by using this volunteer time to grow, develop and mature.
As the old saying goes, practice makes perfect. We love working with volunteers that are eager and ready to strive for a new level of greatness.
2. Meet Like-Minded Healing Practitioners in Your Area
One of the best ways to mature as a Healer is to support yourself with a strong community of like-minded individuals.
You may know of people that disagree with the concept of Healing. And if you aren’t surrounded by peers that believe in you and the practice, it’s easy to get discouraged. That’s why connecting with other volunteers is such a great benefit.
You’ll be able to learn, share and lean on others that believe in this practice as much as you. Trust me, that’s an invaluable resource for Healers of any level.
3. Get the Chance to Participate in Breakthrough Research
The field of Complementary Medicine is wide open with opportunities to study and research.
At Relief from Pain, we take an active approach to ground-breaking research for our field. As a member of our volunteer pool, we’ll lean on you to help us conduct new studies and compile helpful research data.
This is a great chance to learn more about your craft, while contributing to research that could change the course of our field.
