Christine Walker is connecting others with the wisdom they already hold within themselves. Her holistic cancer treatment is less about curing the disease and more about finding peace.
Listening to Christine share her journey was a truly wonderful experienced. I was so blessed to sit and talk with her; it’s amazing to hear her passion and love for what she does.
Here’s a quick intro, in her own words:
I work with people who have just received a cancer diagnosis, and I provide holistic therapies and spiritual guidance. It’s about helping them look at what their cancer means.
By working with this holistic cancer treatment, she’s not necessarily trying to cure their disease. Rather, she’s helping them come to terms with their reality, find peace along the journey and, ultimately, achieve a sense of harmony.
This is attained by answering three distinct questions:
- What does the journey of cancer mean?
- What can you do with it?
- What can it teach you?
What Does the Journey of Cancer Mean?
For many, receiving a diagnosis like this can be a wake-up call.
We’ve all had times in our lives where we felt that wake-up call. Oftentimes, it’s just the jolt we need to make radical changes and transform our lives.
When you’re faced with a tragic disease like cancer, it’s no doubt a wake-up call.
Each week, we see people on the news, friends of friends or even our own family facing cancer. It’s a rampant disease in our modern society. Perhaps even you are facing it right now. But instead of giving up or spending every moment fighting, it can be just as healing to understand that you’re on a new journey.
And – as with every tragic situation in our lives – these type of journeys are prime opportunities to learn and grow. That’s what makes Christine’s work so remarkable.
Are you meant to heal from this, or is it going to be more terminal? As such, what are you teaching others about this journey as you go through it?
That last question is so powerful for all of us to consider. When we come face-to-face with difficult circumstances, it’s easy to feel like we’re all alone. But this slight shift of perspective could change your entire life.
Think about the last time you faced something seemingly impossible. What did you teach someone else about that journey? Powerful.
What Can You Do With It?
Maybe people fear dying because they haven’t lived their life with passion. They’ve given up their life for other people, or they’ve procrastinated and wasted time. You shouldn’t have to create a bucket list because you should be living every day fully.
I really loved this bit from the interview. The thought of living to the fullest everyday is definitely something people talk about so much it feels cliche. Yet, we have to keep discussing it because very few are actually doing it!
Once you’ve identified the meaning of your journey, it’s time to know what to do.
I like this part, because it really highlights the need for purpose and meaning. And when we have that internal vision, accomplishing our goals becomes much easier.
So, when I provide spiritual guidance, it’s to help them understand that they have a deeper meaning and sense of purpose to their lives.
Sometimes it’s a bit difficult to identify that purpose. And that’s where people like Christine step in and help. By enlisting the help of someone like this, you can dig deep into yourself and – as Christine puts it – uncover, recover and discover.
What Can It Teach You?
I’m bringing peacefulness and harmony to their minds, their body, their emotions and their vital spirit. I’m not trying to cure them or fix them. I’m just bringing harmony to their life. It’s the very thing that makes my heart sing.
It makes my heart sing too, Christine!
To find peacefulness and harmony in the face of disease is healing at its best. Many times, we want things to work out the way we think they should. I want to beat cancer – as is a normal reaction to such things.
But accepting truth and finding harmony even if you can’t beat it. That’s true healing.
We may not always be able to overcome the trying circumstances of life. Sometimes we’ll lose the battle. But we do not have to lose ourselves in the battle.
Taking the time to learn in the midst of cancer – or any struggle, for that matter – gives you the chance to achieve peace. Otherwise, we will be overcome with fear. This happened with one of Christine’s clients, and it wasn’t until she learned the lesson that she found peace.
What can your current trial teach you? Set aside some time today and meditate on that thought.
Relieving Pain With Holistic Cancer Treatment
We don’t have a cure for cancer, but we can heal ourselves from anger and fear. Sometimes that’s an even more powerful achievement. Finding that peace and harmony within yourself gives you the power to face anything life hands you – even a terminal disease.
It was a true pleasure to talk with Christine about this topic. To get the full picture of who she is and the work she’s doing, make sure to listen to the full interview. I think you’ll enjoy it.
If this impacted your life in a positive way, please take a moment to share it on social media. It would truly mean the world to me!
