Start of our pilot project to test the benefits of Healing and CAM therapies using breakthrough technologies and advanced clinical research methods: consolidating 10 years of research and networking.
Ideas are cheap, only action and results counts. You have probably heard that before.
What if you have an amazing idea. What if the idea is complex, hugely expensive and encompassing very different areas of expertise. What if it involves bringing together many experts that have not been working together (yet)? What if you have no clue how to proceed, what action do you take? Where do you start?
Relief from Pain has been doing exactly that for the last 10 years: we have been researching the viability of this type of projects.
Can we provide proof that the benefits of Healing are real?
We have taken a lot of action to connect healers and software developers, medical staff in hospitals, clinical research organisations and pharmaceuticals, governments, data specialist, patients and many, many others.
Because this amazing idea will help so many people who are not well, who are in pain, physical, mental and emotional pain. It will help to maintain health and wellbeing for a growing and ageing population at a lower cost. Sounds like a miracle?
Here is a breakdown of all parties involved, the description of the first pilot, and what we are looking to achieve: the first test to proof that the benefits of healing are real.
1. The people: who is involved?
Relief from Pain Charity, Social Entreprise, several software companies, PhD-students, data-scientists, and a hospital in the South East of England, investors and donors all over the world.
We are all joining forces to realize our first clinical research pilot.
2. The project: what will we do?
The hospital: provides a 28-bed ward for patients to receive CAM, healing, and several other CAM treatments.
The healers: provide healing sessions to those patient who chose to receive the sessions.
Clinical researchers: will oversee the project and evaluate on input, access of data, identify benefits of CAM to prepare against medical research.
PhD and Professors: will write a medical thesis on the results established in the medical community and the NHS.
PR and social media: spread the results in the world.
Software & data specialist: ensure the validity of data and results.
Umbrella participants: that enable to span across worlds to mutually benefit each other.
3. The results: what we will proof
Have a faster recovery time >>> Shorter average hospital stay
Feel better, experience less pain >>> Less medication and staff required
Avoid illness (preventive care) >>> Fewer future hospital days
Better health and well being >>> Fewer chronic illnesses care
More effective healing (reducing the risk of reoccurrence) >>> Less re-admissions
Relief from Pain Charity will be the social glue between all the interested parties.
